Describe what you make: Rugs, wallpaper, fabric, and accessories like pillows and prints.
The most important thing you’ve designed to date: From the beginning, it was important that my studio not only design beautiful and well-made textiles, but that we did so in a thoughtful way. We’re a small company, but one that has always given back. Our focus has been to support environmental organizations and I’m most proud of the Collado nature reserve in Nicaragua that we helped to build in partnership with the nonprofit Vital Actions.
Describe the problem your work solves: Blank walls, hard floors, bright windows, neck support (lol).
Describe the project you are working on now: We just launched a new collection of stripes, which might sound a little boring but it was really fun creating little variations with paint and color within the concept of a basic stripe. Right now I’m working on my rug collection for next year which I’m really excited about!
A new or forthcoming project we should know about: I have a Palm print collection coming out this summer and in the fall a pattern called Quotidiana inspired by being indoors during Covid-19 lockdown.
What you absolutely must have in your studio: Music and organization.
What you do when you’re not working: Surf, yoga, eat, travel, and hang out with friends.

The distraction you want to eliminate: I love distractions and I want more. “A distraction doesn’t pull you away from your primary goal, it reveals your true desires.”
