During the pandemic, Maison&Objet hosted Digital Days on their innovative virtual platform during lockdown. The statistics are impressive—Maison&Objet and More attracts more than 2.7 million visitors, 2,000 brands, and 220,000 interior designers and buyers. We all learned that virtual experiences simply can’t replace the energy and enthusiasm of in-person events, so the fair doubled down on planning a physical edition that kicks off this weekend (Sept. 9–13) as international travel restrictions are lifted. For five days during Paris Design Week, Maison & Objet will present new furnishings, lighting, and accessories from more than 1,500 exhibitors that encompass both heritage brands and newcomers alike. In doing so, the fair aims to help designers develop their orders through year-end and keep the enthusiasm alive until the fair’s next edition in January.
