Sophie von Hellermann is bringing chaos to Savile Row. In her latest solo exhibition at Pilar Corrias, the German-born painter draws inspiration from mythology, cosmology, and mathematical theories to depict scenes of creation born from the convergence of havoc and disorder. Von Hellermann’s gestural strokes and painting techniques further the exhibition’s exploration of chaos and destruction and their roles in the creation of life, habitats, the planet, and crucially, the universe.
