Ladders rarely come to mind when one thinks of high-design objects for the home, but Galerie Kreo’s latest group exhibition proves that a little bit of design ingenuity can elevate the experience of simple vertical mounts and horizontal steps. Whether psychedelic (Jerzsy Seymour’s “Acid Tracks Ladder”) or pared down (Front’s “Tree Ladder”), each rendition of the seemingly mundane object plays with perception and proportions—and reflects the sensibilities of its designer.
