A Givenchy flagship has opened in a Frank Lloyd Wright building on Rodeo Drive.

Givenchy has opened its first permanent Los Angeles store in a Frank Lloyd Wright–designed building on Rodeo Drive. The 8,000-square-foot flagship features meticulously restored original elements like diamond-scored concrete ceilings and red floors, and places the brand’s Parisian elegance within the context of a distinctly American architectural artifact.

Design Week South Africa launches to highlight a “new wave” of creative talents.

Come this October, Cape Town and Johannesburg will host a new design week in South Africa  to spotlight emerging local talent. Founded by fashion designer Margot Molyneux, the event will feature four days of exhibitions, installations, and events in each city, aiming to continue the legacy of the now-defunct Design Indaba.

Disney has finally detailed how it will spend $60 billion expanding its parks and cruises.

Disney has unveiled plans to expand its theme park and cruise operations through a $60 billion investment over the next decade. Its key projects include the largest-ever expansion of its Florida park’s Magic Kingdom, new areas dedicated to Disney villains and Pixar’s Cars, as well as the addition of eight new cruise ships by 2031.

Porches will be the focus of the U.S. Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale.

The U.S. Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale will be led by Peter MacKeith, Susan Chin, and Rod Bigelow, and will focus on the cultural and architectural significance of porches in American life. The exhibition, titled “PORCH: An Architecture of Generosity,” will feature a temporary porch structure designed by Marlon Blackwell, Stephen Burks, Julie Bargmann, and Maura Rockcastle and will later be repurposed for educational use in Italy.

After success in Amsterdam and Barcelona, Moco Museum is heading to London.

The made-for-Instagram Moco Museum has opened its third location in London’s Marble Arch, with an exhibition of contemporary art by the likes of Jeff Koons, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Takashi Murakami. The institution took to London following successes in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and its plans for future exhibitions include Marina Abramović’s Healing Frequency.
