The Armory Show Kicks Off Its 30th Edition With a Bang

This year’s Armory Show kickoff party was a change of pace for the 30-year-old art fair, marking its first edition as part of Frieze Americas. As such, The Armory’s Kyla McMillan and Frieze’s Christine Messineo welcomed VIP artists and collectors to a celebratory night at the National Arts Club on Sept. 4. DJ Fulathela spun tunes and guests were treated to a performance by musical collective Standing on the Corner. Notables in attendance included Storm Ascher, Sheree Hovespian, Rashid Johnson, Tyler Mitchell, Miles Greenberg, Tschabalala Self, Kilo Kish, Roze Traore, and more.
