A group of New York artist-designer-makers, from lighting designer David Weeks to multidisciplinary studio Office for Tangible Space, assemble furnishings and objects using readily accessible, off-the-shelf parts sourced from local hardware stores. What resulted are unexpected and inventive works that recast common tools and materials like putty knives, reflective property sticks, moving blankets, and HVAC ductwork in a curious new light.
