California firm FLPA Design Studios has won AIA’s 2025 Architecture Firm Award.

LPA Design Studios has been awarded the 2025 AIA Architecture Firm Award for its leadership in sustainable design and commitment to equity in the profession. The firm, which operates in California and Texas with more than 400 architects, was recognized for integrating sustainability into its work through initiatives like LEED and AIA’s 2030 Commitment.

The St. Petersburg City Council retracted its initial approval of a $23.7 million plan to repair the hurricane-damaged roof of Tropicana Field, reversing its decision two hours later. This development complicates negotiations for a new $1.3 billion stadium and raises questions about where the Tampa Bay Rays will play beyond 2025, as well as the team’s long-term presence in Tampa Bay.

Isak Andic, who founded retailer Mango in 1972, died on Saturday in Spain.

Isak Andic, co-founder of the global fashion brand Mango, died at the age of 71 following a fatal fall. The Istanbul-born entrepreneur, who launched Mango with his brother in 1972, transformed it into a major player in fast fashion. 

Maison Margiela MM6 has dropped a streetwear-inflected Year of the Snake capsule.

MM6 Maison Margiela has unveiled its Year of the Snake collection, featuring hoodies, tees, pants, jewelry, and bags in a festive red, white, and black palette. The designs prominently display the brand’s numeric logo over a red snake, unifying it with the Chinese zodiac theme.  

Nintendo has opened its first store in Bangkok, with consoles, merch, and collectibles.

Nintendo has opened its first official store in Bangkok at Siam Paragon, offering fans an immersive retail experience. The store includes an interactive Experience Zone with trial stations and large screens, alongside a Merchandise Zone featuring over 350 collectibles inspired by franchises like Super Mario and Pokémon.
