Studio MRDO and Studio Lam have won a competition to design a subterranean bathhouse in the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea. The clever plan keeps visitors from the two countries separated—and dressed in contrasting robes—but still ensures that they come into contact as they descend the structure’s ramps.

After Greece refused Gucci’s request to host a fashion show at the Parthenon, the brand has found an alternate historic site. Gucci will put on a show in Florence’s Palazzo Pitti, and provide $2.13 million to restore the property’s Boboli Gardens in exchange. “I guess that Greece’s fiscal situation is in better shape than Italy’s,” said Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri.
