Julian Watts uses traditional carving techniques to expose the human hand in his sculptures. This method imbues his pieces with a certain vulnerability that encourages an investigation of the relationships among the body, object, design, and function. “Feelers” brings this discourse to the gallery space through sculptures, tools, and abstract forms.
