A marriage of light and color, art and popular culture, Mike Kelley’s Kandors series poses questions about memory and trauma via the comic-book story of Kandor, the fictional birthplace of Superman. On show at this extensive exhibition—the most comprehensive one to date of Kelley’s Kandors works—are the series’ many luminous and complex installations.
