 Spencer BaileySpencer Bailey is the editorial director of Surface Media and editor-in-chief of Surface magazine. Previously, he has contributed to The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, and Bloomberg Businessweek, and worked at The Daily Beast, Vanity Fair, and Esquire. He is the author of the book Tham ma da: The Adventurous Interiors of Paola Navone (Pointed Leaf Press). Bailey is a trustee of the Noguchi Museum and served on the juries of the 2016 James Beard Restaurant Design Awards, 2016 Rado Star Prize, and 2017 Swarovski Designers of the Future Award. |
 Tiffany JowAs Surface’s design editor, Tiffany Jow leads coverage of interior, product, and emerging design. She has contributed to Art Review, Artsy, Cultured, Dwell, New York Magazine, Wallpaper*, and Wallpaper* City Guides, among others. Jow spent a year in the research department at the Victoria and Albert Museum and contributed to the 2011 exhibition “Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970–1990.” She has also helped designers, such as architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, implement their voice across platforms and articulate their work and process. |
 Nate StoreyAs the travel editor at Surface, Nate Storey oversees travel content operations across Surface Media’s many platforms, and manages partnerships and brand extensions within the travel space including the Surface Travel Awards, an annual program that celebrates the best of travel and design, and the online travel agency Surface Hotels. His previous stops include Travel + Leisure and Men’s Journal, and he’s contributed to publications such as The New York Times and Conde Nast Traveller. |
