The Korean contemporary artist’s first museum presentation in America underscores the physical and sensory nature of her works. Featuring the U.S. debut of her new installation, “Black Mat Oriole,” which consists of sculpture, painting, textiles, and video rooted in Korean traditions, the exhibition also includes sculptures reflecting the tangibility of everyday Korean objects, and a dance performance on opening weekend.
