For Saint Laurent, fashion is a serious business, but sometimes it can also be about fun and games—literally. Under creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the French label launched Saint Laurent Rive Droite, its two concept stores in Paris and Los Angeles, where the offerings extend beyond what is seen on the runway. The locations house a number of lifestyle items that are geared toward their customers, including a selection of music, art, books, and, yes, toys.
The two retail destinations have launched their sixth line of collectibles, titled 006, that comprise of a number of elevated knicknacks: brass, crystal-embellished dice; a domino set with colorful jewels; heart-shaped ice cubes molds; a bleach-white mini radio; and, our personal favorite, a retro arcade machine done in collaboration with Neo Legend. All the items speak to the upmarket, rock ‘n’ roll vibe that was first introduced to Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, and almost perfected by Vaccarello.
