After runaway success in L.A., André Heller’s Luna Luna park will come to The Shed.

In November, the André Heller–created Luna Luna art carnival will open at The Shed in New York City. Its Jean-Michel Basquiat–designed Ferris wheel and Keith Haring carousel thrilled visitors in Los Angeles, where the attractions were restored and unveiled this past year with some help from Drake

Frank Lloyd Wright’s landmark commission Winslow House is for sale for $1.98 million.

The Winslow House in River Forest, IL, dates back to 1893 and was Frank Lloyd Wright’s first independent commission; it’s now for sale, listed at $1.98 million after an extensive renovation. The home blends Wright’s early influences with the emerging prairie style that later defined his work, featuring Wright’s original woodwork, stained glass, and open-plan layout, with modern updates including new electrical, air conditioning, and a renovated guest house.

The “Erewhon of New York” teams up with Dover Street Market for Fashion Week.

Dover Street Market and the trendy wellness-slanted Happier Grocer are keeping fashion week revelers sated with a co-branded capsule of hats, totes, T-shirts, and snacks like dried mangoes and dark chocolate. A limited-edition food menu at DSM’s Rose Bakery café features a menu with picks from fashion houses including Proenza Schouler and Melitta Baumeister, all of which is available until Sept. 13. 

Bach Mai, Dauphinette, and Kozaburo win CFDA/Genesis House AAPI Design Grants.

The CFDA and Genesis House have awarded the AAPI Design and Innovation Grant to Bach Mai, Dauphinette founder Olivia Cheng, and Kozaburo Akasaka. Each recipient will receive $40,000 and mentorship from the likes of Meta’s Eva Chen and Monse’s Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, to create collections that blend their heritage with contemporary design. The grant also funds a research trip to Seoul for creative inspiration, with one winner set to receive an additional $60,000 in February.

Together, Qualcomm, Google, and Samsung have entered the smart glasses arms race.

Tech manufacturer Qualcomm is collaborating with Samsung and Google to develop mixed-reality smart glasses that will function as smartphone accessories and will be powered by artificial intelligence and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip. Unlike Apple’s Vision Pro headset, Qualcomm leadership has expressed that their technology aims to emulate regular eyewear.
