Artwalk New York Brings a Benefit to Chelsea’s Gallery Corridor

On October 21, fixtures of Chelsea’s blue-chip galleries trekked just a block or so over to Chelsea Factory for Artwalk New York’s annual benefit. The evening honored figurative painter Katherine Bradford and art advisor and philanthropist Aileen Agopian. Its live and silent auctions featured artwork by the likes of José Parlá, Ed Ruscha, Stanley Whitney, and more, ultimately raising more than $700,000 for the Coalition for the Homeless. Notables in attendance included Vincent and Shelly Fremont, Anwarri Musa, Taryn Delanie Smith, Cristian Notari, Jonathan Gardenhire, Oscar Ñn, Ally Shapiro, Freja Harrell, Tina Kim, and more.
