The bicoastal interactive agency Avec is adept at creating compelling brand languages that speak to the heart of its clients. The firm partnered with handbag company Vere Verto to capture the thinking and thoughtfulness behind its convertible and handmade leather accessories, which are made to transition effortlessly from day to night. The custom typeface communicates the design ideology: It’s streamlined and strong, with slight curves and serifs that add a pointedly feminine, classic quality. A palette of white, gray, and misty taupe creates a neutral backdrop against which the bags’ deluxe materials and sophisticated detailing pop. Each element is elegant and uncomplicated, functional and adaptable—much like the bags themselves. More than a look, Avec developed an authentic story to carry Vere Verto into the future, and stand the test of time.
