Following her single “Levii’s Jeans,” Beyoncé and Levi’s partner on a campaign.

Levi Strauss & Co. has launched a new campaign starring Beyoncé, building on the buzz from her recent album, which included the song “Levii’s Jeans.” The photography recreates some of the denim brand’s best-known spots, including the 1985 “Launderette” ad. Beyoncé’s shoutout reportedly helped the company’s stock outperform the S&P 500, with a 31 percent gain this year.

Somerset House will still host the 1-54 fair as planned, despite damage from a fire.

The 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair will proceed at London’s Somerset House despite a summer fire that damaged part of the building. The 12th edition, beginning October 10, will feature 60 exhibitors and showcase works by more than 160 artists, including established names like Mous Lamrabat and emerging talents such as Freya Bramble-Carter.

The Shelburne Museum taps Two Row Architect to reimagine its Perry Center.

Gagosian will host Europe’s  largest James Turrell exhibition in 25 years, opening October 14 at its Le Bourget gallery near Paris. Titled “At One,” the show will feature new and extant works from Turrell, including a debut of Ganzfeld, All Clear (2024), an immersive installation that blurs sensory perception. The exhibition will also showcase pieces from his Wedgework and Glassworks series, alongside archival materials related to his monumental land artwork Roden Crater.

Fotografiska closes its New York outpost in Gramercy Park, laying off most of its staff.

Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini has strengthened his control of the company through a deal with LVMH, which acquired a 10 percent stake in Ruffini’s investment vehicle, Double R. The agreement allows Double R to increase its stake in Moncler to 18.5 percent over the next 18 months, with the support of LVMH’s funding. 

LVMH has sold Off-White to Scotch & Soda and Elie Tahari owner Bluestar Alliance.

LVMH has sold Off-White, the brand founded by the late Virgil Abloh, to Bluestar Alliance, a company known for managing a diverse portfolio of consumer brands. Bluestar’s CEO, Joey Gabbay, emphasized the opportunity to build on Abloh’s legacy, praising his fusion of street culture with high fashion.
