Design Duo
Grafton Architects’s Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara were named co-artistic directors of the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale. “The curators, who are well-known for the refinement of their work, are also known for their intense didactic activity and their ability to involve and fascinate new generations,” said Paolo Baratta, president of the Venice Biennale.

First Steps
Two newly crowned design directors—Guillaume Meilland of Ferragamo and Francesco Risso of Marni—debuted their first collections at Men’s Fashion Week in Milan. Risso put on a “cheeky little rave,” while Meilland trotted out a more subdued offering.
