Dior’s Kim Jones has won France’s prestigious Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur award.

Kim Jones marked a career milestone in Paris, presenting Dior’s menswear collection while receiving the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, France’s highest civilian award. The accolade follows Jones’ latest Paris Fashion Week Men’s presentation, which has been acclaimed for blending the maison’s heritage with modernity and pushing boundaries of gender fluidity.

Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei thinks AI could outpace human intelligence by 2027.

In an interview with WSJ, Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic, revealed ambitious plans to enhance the capabilities of the company’s AI chatbot Claude, including improved memory, voice interaction, and web integration, as the company navigates surging demand and rapid technological advancements. With revenue growing tenfold last year and a projected milestone of one million chips by 2026, Anthropic is vying for dominance in the AI space, competing with OpenAI to deliver smarter, more interactive models. Amodei predicted AI could surpass human intelligence within three years, emphasizing both its transformative potential and the challenges it poses.

Two Van Gogh paintings are leaving Switzerland for the first time in 100 years to be shown in London.

Two rare Van Gogh paintings of the Arles hospital, created during his recovery after mutilating his ear, will be exhibited at London’s Courtauld Gallery from February to May 2025. These masterpieces are part of the Oskar Reinhart Collection and will be on loan for the first time due to renovations at Reinhart’s Swiss museum.
