Scenes From the Garage Museum’s Gala and Benefit Auction

On November 23, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art hosted a gala and benefit auction in support of the Garage Endowment Fund. Museum founders Dasha Zhukova and Roman Abramovich welcomed 130 guests from across Russia and abroad for the event, which saw 10 artists donate works—sculptures by Maurizio Cattelan, Caspian Sea–shaped baking molds by Taus Makhavcheva, and a marble footstool by Jenny Holzer—for a Sotheby’s auction that raised more than $1.2 million.
