Hermès Unveils Its Winter Menswear in Tokyo, and Other News

Hermès showed its latest collection in its Renzo Piano-designed Tokyo headquarters.

Hermès showcased its Fall/Winter 2024 menswear collection at Maison Hermès: its Renzo Piano-designed headquarters in Tokyo. An architectural gem in the Ginza district, the glass brick-clad “magic lantern” transformed into a luminous backdrop for the campaign.

L.A.’s Natural History Museum opens its new, free welcome center on Exposition Park.

The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County unveiled NHM Commons, a $75-million expansion designed by Frederick Fisher and Partners. The addition integrates the museum into the neighboring Exposition Park with a landscaped plaza, 400-seat auditorium, and a gallery showcasing pieces like Barbara Carrasco’s mural and Gnatalie, a vibrant green dinosaur skeleton.

A third member of Just Stop Oil has been charged for defacing Stonehenge in June.

Luke Watson has been charged for his role in a June protest at Stonehenge, where orange powder paint was sprayed on the ancient monument and UNESCO World Heritage site. Two other activists, Niamh Lynch and Rajan Naidu, were charged with damaging the site and causing public nuisance for their role in the protest.
