Considered one of the world’s leading museums specializing in contemporary design and architecture, London’s Design Museum will open the doors of its new location at a formerly vacant 1960s landmarked building on High Street Kensington. For the inaugural exhibition, “Fear and Love,” 11 designers and architects (including OMA, Hussein Chalayan, and Surface’s 2016 Technology Issue cover star, Neri Oxman) will present commissioned installations meant to resonate with widely-felt anxieties, hopes, and aspirations around the globe.
