Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson hosted an opening party for the brand’s summer shop at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Ibiza on Friday. The pop-up coincides with two fashion exhibitions currently on view at the museum: drawings from the Guerlain collection and a showing of vintage pieces from Paula’s Ibiza, an iconic local boutique established there in the 1970s. Timed to the exhibition, the Loewe store carries a collaboration with the cult shopping destination, which is known for its tropical, summer aesthetic. (Highlights include two bags layered with a parrot motif.) The event also celebrated the launch of “Close to Paradise,” a music track created in collaboration with sound director Michel Gaubert and Soulwax. Notable guests in attendance included Elisa Lasowski, Stuart Rudnick, and Gilda Ambrosio.
