Moncler, Mercedes-Benz, and Nigo Celebrate a New Collection

The famed Japanese polymath, designer, record producer, and DJ, Nigo appeared stateside to celebrate the Moncler x Mercedes-Benz by Nigo collection—and the limited edition G-Class Past II Future vehicle (which features a Moncler puffer vest detachable rooftop)—in the newly opened Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan flagship. Guests were metaphorically transported into the past as they enjoyed cocktails served out of the trunks of vintage cars, before being escorted into the showroom-turned-dining room, where elements of the G-Class were used as the table itself. From metal bodywork, golden flower vases recalling the shape of jerrycans, puffer elements, and checked patterns from the cars interiors, the evening shined a headlight on Moncler Genius, the label’s co-creation platform. Guests included Alton Mason, KAWS, Chloe Wise, Quil Lemons, Miles Chamley-Watson, Peyton List, Joey Badass, Larry Warsh, and many more.
