Design Dialogues

In 2013, Surface launched the Design Dialogues Series with an expanded program featuring a strongly curated roster of international artists and brands. The series is a moderated discussion by Surface editor in chief, Spencer Bailey, and features a conversation on contemporary design themes, accompanied by an intimate cocktail reception.

The series has gained significant media and industry attention and has featured renowned talent including Julian Schnabel, Michael Chow, Ian Schrager, Bjarke Ingels, Carlos Couturier, Adam Tihany, Daniel Boulud, Kanye West, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Jacques Herzog, John Baldessari, George Yabu, and Glenn Pushelberg among many others.

The Design Dialogues Series is hosted at an exclusive venue in top cities around the country including NYC, LA, Chicago, and Miami.
