Olafur Eliasson prepares to light up New York and London with digital art billboards.

Olafur Eliasson is launching Lifeworld, a series of out-of-focus videos set to appear on billboards in New York, London, Seoul, and Berlin, starting October 1. The work, commissioned by the Circa art platform, is meant to reflect today’s social and political disorientation, with daily screenings in each city through December, and a special showcase in New York during November’s Midnight Moment public art program.

Your Zillow listing may soon come with a color-coded “climate risk financial model.”

Between the end of the year and 2025, Zillow will begin including climate risk data for property listings in the U.S., highlighting potential threats such as wildfires, floods, extreme heat, high winds, and poor air quality. In partnership with climate risk modeling platform First Street, Zillow will display risk levels and insurance recommendations for each property, with color-coded maps showing the severity of these risks.

On Oct. 14, Gagosian will stage Europe’s largest James Turrell exhibition in 25 years.

Gagosian will host Europe’s  largest James Turrell exhibition in 25 years, opening October 14 at its Le Bourget gallery near Paris. Titled “At One,” the show will feature new and extant works from Turrell, including a debut of Ganzfeld, All Clear (2024), an immersive installation that blurs sensory perception. The exhibition will also showcase pieces from his Wedgework and Glassworks series, alongside archival materials related to his monumental land artwork Roden Crater.

Moncler chairman Remo Ruffini’s Double R strikes an investment deal with LVMH.

Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini has strengthened his control of the company through a deal with LVMH, which acquired a 10 percent stake in Ruffini’s investment vehicle, Double R. The agreement allows Double R to increase its stake in Moncler to 18.5 percent over the next 18 months, with the support of LVMH’s funding. 

Studio Gang breaks ground on a LEED-certified Hudson Valley performing arts theater.

Studio Gang has broken ground on the first-ever LEED Platinum theater in the U.S., located in New York’s Hudson Valley. The Samuel H. Scripps Theater Center, a 14,850-square-foot home for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company, will offer open-air performances on a 98-acre site, previously a golf course. Designed with a focus on integrating the natural environment, the theater aims to provide a distinctive indoor-outdoor experience for audiences by summer 2026.
