Describe what you make: Installations using flowers and botanical elements. Creative concepts and visual work revolving around elements and materials of natural origin.
The most important thing you’ve designed to date: With the way we work, we treat every project as the most important thing to date. Because a lot of our work is ephemeral (especially when working with fresh flowers and plants) each creation we design is our only existing creation at that time. In this instance, on our most recent project with JOV, we got to develop a product that is long-lasting, which definitely makes it important and exciting for us.
Describe the problem your work solves: Our studio helps visualize a connection between our clients (luxury brands, companies, retailers, and other creative entities) and the natural world. A lot of commodities share a connection with nature and the environment, and our work aims to enhance and enrich this connection through storytelling and design.
Describe the project you are working on now: Our collaboration collection with JOV is a result of months of research into natural textures and elements that excite us. We’re fascinated by mushrooms and the way they inhabit our planet, their communications and intelligence network which is intertwined with our environment. With JOV, we designed three rugs referencing the beautiful textures and colors in which oyster mushrooms grow.
A new or forthcoming project we should know about: Expanding our studio and setting up a second branch in Milan. We have many great collaborators and clients in the city and we are excited to imagine the studio being more integrated there in the summer of 2023.
What you absolutely must have in your studio: Because we work globally, we often don’t have the privilege of working from the studio. A vacuum cleaner, a leaf blower, clippers, and a drop sheet is a crucial kit for most of our work.
What you do when you’re not working: Taking in inspiration whenever possible, traveling… I’m a new mother so I’m also enjoying spending time with my one-year-old child and showing him the world.

The distraction you want to eliminate: I would love to be able to focus more on the present. Often I find myself stretched between various points, marinating on the past and thinking about the future. It would be a gift to be able to give myself to the current moment.
