Scenes From the Lavish Serpentine Summer Party

On June 27, the cultural cognoscenti came together at London’s Kensington Gardens for the annual Serpentine Summer Party. Hosted by Michael Bloomberg, Bettina Korek, and Hans Ulrich Obrist, the evening festivities took guests on an artist-led path to see a Tomás Saraceno installation to this year’s Serpentine Pavilion designed by Lina Ghotmeh. The event kicked off with a performance by the Aga Khan Master Musicians, in which eminent Syrian and Western talents performed a piece inspired by Middle Eastern heritage. Guests enjoyed Ladurée macarons and spicy cucumber jalapeño margaritas from Casamigos Tequila before ending the night with DJ sets by Benji B and Major League DJz.
