Sotheby’s and Equinox Shine a Spotlight on Queer Intimacy

On June 21, Sotheby’s and Equinox hosted an intimate cocktail to celebrate “Forms of Intimacy,” a group exhibition of queer photographers at the auction house’s New York headquarters. A poignant celebration of Pride month, the show features more than 20 photographs from LGBTQIA+ artists including Steven Klein, Willy Vanderperre, and Laurence Philomène that express queer intimacy and are defying preconceptions that surround the community. All proceeds from the auction, which lasts until June 30, will benefit Camp Felix Pride, a newly established summer camp for queer youth in the New York foster care system.
