Away founder Steph Korey Goodwin is back with a “Google Calendar for Kids” launch.

Steph Korey Goodwin, the embattled co-founder of Away, has launched Charmspring, a children’s brand focused on creating education-forward children’s toys. Its first product, Springboard, is a customizable magnetic scheduling board designed to help children organize their day.

Anat Ebgi gallery expands into the former Praz-Delavallade space in Los Angeles.

Anat Ebgi is expanding her gallery in Los Angeles by taking over the former Praz-Delavallade space on Wilshire Boulevard, closing her East Hollywood location in the process. The move consolidates her operations into two adjacent galleries near cultural hubs like LACMA, providing better accessibility and a central location. The new space will debut with a solo exhibition by Jibade-Khalil Huffman.

In a new collaboration, David LaChapelle makes the case for swimming in Louboutins.

Christian Louboutin has teamed up with David LaChapelle and France’s national artistic swimming team, who will perform in the shoe designer’s new Miss Z pumps during Paris Fashion Week. The performance, choreographed by Blanca Li, will combine synchronized swimming, dance, and live music to showcase Louboutin’s Spring 2025 collection with a Hollywood-inspired retro aesthetic.

Nikita Gale has been awarded the Whitney Biennial’s $100,000 Bucksbaum Award.

Visual artist Nikita Gale has won the Whitney Biennial’s Bucksbaum Award for her contribution to the show, which explores the intersections of materials, power, and attention. Her installation, Tempo Rubato (Stolen Time), features a modified player piano that silently performs pop music, and prompts questions of labor, authorship, and technology.

Frank Lloyd Wright Jr.’s Wayfarers Chapel has been dismantled for its own protection.

The Wayfarers Chapel, a beloved architectural landmark designed by Lloyd Wright Jr. and completed in 1951, was dismantled due to severe land instability caused by accelerating landslides on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The intricate deconstruction, which was completed  in mid-2024, preserved as much of the original structure as possible, including its signature redwood arches and steel elements, while the pieces now await relocation to a safer site.
