During the summer, Yodezeen architect and creative director Artur Sharf teamed up with Matthew Auerbach to quietly launch Teyo: a purveyor of stone furniture, fittings, and accessories in one-of-a-kind finishes. Each piece, including its Sol island, Mare vanity, and Luminosa and Brisa kitchens are made in Teyo’s workshops in Carrara, Italy, and are produced in custom finishes and textures. Later this fall, the brand will embark on the next stage of its launch by opening the doors to its first showroom in Miami’s Design District. Once open, the space will put discerning consumers one step closer to Teyo’s exquisite mastery of marble—no intercontinental travel required.
