At Upstate Art Weekend, Meditations on Home and Resilience

Over the weekend, art and design lovers headed to Upstate Art Weekend to see dozens of artists present their latest works in bucolic environs across the Hudson Valley. One highlight from this year’s edition saw Female Design Council founder Lora Appleton curate a group exhibition featuring five female-identifying makers at the idyllic Stoneleaf Retreat in Kingston. From futuro-architectural ceramics by Abigail Kuohn to wearable sculptures by Cheryl R.
