A sprawling, 300-foot Yayoi Kusama sculpture lands at London’s Liverpool station.

Infinite Accumulation, Yayoi Kusama’s largest permanent public sculpture, has been unveiled at London’s Liverpool Street station. The 328-foot-long installation is the 95-year-old sculptor’s first public work in the U.K. and features reflective silver spheres arranged in a complex web, symbolizing the city’s diverse population and social structure. 

The World Monuments Fund rallies to restore 18th-century poet William Blake’s cottage.

William Blake’s former cottage in Sussex, England, is set to be restored and transformed into a museum thanks to fundraising efforts from the World Monuments Fund, the Blake Cottage Trust, Foyle Foundation, and Foulerton Charitable Trust. The project aims to repair the thatched roof and to eventually recreate the cottage and garden as they were during Blake’s residency. The final goal is to establish an arts and educational center, with an estimated total cost of more than $5.2 million.

The paint manufacturer Behr names this burgundy hue its 2025 color of the year.

Behr has named Rumors, a dimensional burgundy red with earthy brown undertones, as its 2025 Color of the Year. In its announcement, the paint manufacturer praised the shade’s versatility, and positioned it as part of a broader 2025 Color Trends palette that reflects a shift toward warm, earth tones in interiors.

Zaha Hadid Architects’ Central Bank of Iraq becomes the tallest building in Baghdad.

Zaha Hadid Architects’ Central Bank of Iraq has become Baghdad’s tallest building. The 557-foot-tall skyscraper features sinewy concrete veins the firm designed to mimic the play of sunlight off of the Tigris River. The bank, which was commissioned in 2010, is in the final construction phases and nearing completion.

Farfetch’s troubles deepen as new owner Coupang shutters the platform’s B2B arm.

Farfetch owner Coupang has decided to shut down Farfetch Platform Solutions, the company’s B2B toolkit for wholesale clients, after its failure to achieve the desired growth. The decision follows Coupang’s acquisition of Farfetch last year for $100 million and its stated plans to refocus on the core marketplace business.
