NTWRK x Amex Art Drop

During Miami Art Week, American Express and Resy made a splash in the city’s Design District with Savor and Soul, a dining experience celebrating Black chefs and culture, with a menu designed by the James Beard Award-winning chef Mashama Bailey. There, exclusive works by artists Gianni Lee, Adrian Brandon, and Sabrena Khadija made their public debut. Starting today, all three works are available to purchase on the livestream shopping app NTWRK, in partnership with Amex.

Multidisciplinary visual artist Gianni Lee produced an original pair of jeans, featuring his signature embroidered skeleton motif often seen in his street art across the world from Paris and New York City to Bulgaria and Cuba. The skeleton also dons the artist’s aluminum card holder as part of the collection. Sabrena Khadija, a Sierra-Leonean illustrator based in Washington, D.C., is a Black non-binary creative whose regal, mixed-media painting of a Black woman on canvas has been printed onto glassware for this drop.

Pieces from multimedia artist Adrian Brandon, whose work grapples with themes of pride, peace, and protest, are also available as part of the NTWRK drop. Inspired by biking and weaving in and out of traffic, Brandon has translated that exhilarating experience into a large mixed media work on canvas comprising his own photography, pastels, paint, ink, and graphite, as well as a matching poly-satin scarf.
