While his early paintings focused on the optical experience, Henry’s interest in perception has shifted against the backdrop of “post-truth” politics and an increasingly digitized existence. His latest solo exhibition explores how abstract thought—often scientific, cosmic, and spiritual in nature—is illustrated through objects such as light bulbs, flashlights, and stars set within gradients, grids, and monochromes in a contemporary quest for objective universal truth.
