In response to the global migration crisis, Ai Weiwei is staging is a sprawling, multiborough exhibition that recasts the security fence as an artistic and social symbol, interrogating how it can divide and shape our environment. These site-specific sculptures are installed at various locations across the city, including the Washington Square Arch, the Unisphere, and Central Park.
