After a successful run at the Studio Museum in Harlem, Bass’s critically lauded exhibition returns for another round with 30 signs placed throughout the Pulitzer Arts Foundation’s lush outdoor spaces. Inspired by public wayfinding signage, each work is anchored by a billboard posing a question that explores a spectrum of human emotions: compassion, desire, anxiety, and loss. Archival images and audio artworks accompany the sculptures, encouraging even further reflection.
