Harlem-based Claire Oliver Gallery, which represents the likes of BK Adams Carolyn Mazloomi, and Barbara Earl Thomas, brings 23 works to Metro Toronto Convention Center for Art Toronto. The lineup includes new and recent works, such as Suyao Tian’s water based mixed media paintings, and textile art from Simone Elizabeth Saunders and Gio Swaby. In a moment of recognition for Swaby, the artist’s work features in the fair’s “Focus” exhibition, which was curated by Rhéanne Chartrand.
