Ettore Sottsass studied architecture, but always had a fondness for painting. When he tried glassblowing for the first time, he quickly took a liking to the malleability that the molten material affords. On the occasion of his 100th birthday, a show at Le Stanze Del Vetro will bring together 200 of his glass works, including sev-eral made in collaboration with Vistosi, the Memphis Group, Baccarat, and more.
