To celebrate NYCxDesign, the Female Design Council (FDC) and Carl Hansen & Søn are hosting a group show of FDC member artists and designers—Arielle Assouline-Lichten, Kristin Victoria Barron, and Yolande Milan Batteau among them—united by a dedication to process, integrity, and craftsmanship. Curated by Lora Appleton, the show presents sculptural works, one-of-a-kind furniture, and fiber art that showcase how the act of making is a constant inquiry, and how each talent has overcome a deeply transitional period by immersing themselves in their craft.
