This exhibition presents the fruits of the MIT Self-Assembly Lab and Swiss designer Christophe Guberan’s latest collaboration: A series of large-scale, geometric objects, produced via Rapid Liquid Printing, a 3D-printing technology developed by the lab. In this process, forms are “drawn” in gel suspension by a robot, thus reimagining manufacturing and production as an artistic activity.
