Meditating on the pervasive presence of plastic, an undulating sculpture of refuse collected over three years billows and surges throughout the gallery. Larner painted its jagged surface in blue, green, and white shades of plastic-derived acrylic paint, evoking the ephemeral qualities of sea foam. Surrounding that work is a new series of glazed ceramics whose unearthly, freeform shapes embody the otherworldliness of asteroids and unknown bodies moving in space.
