Lifelong friends and collaborators, Mike Kelley and Jim Shaw were master interpreters of ’70s and ’80s Midwestern subculture. This show examines their parallel practices through their shared conceptual murals for punk group Destroy All Monsters, as well as their solo output of never-before-seen collages (Kelley) and drawings (Shaw).
