The troublemaking Brooklyn design collective showcases two large-scale works with Gufram, highlighting the Italian company’s role in the Radical Design movement while shedding light on two of its most notable pieces that critiqued consumerism. Pratone is reimagined by cutting through its oversized blades of grass to reveal bloody foam innards, maintaining the original’s critique of OUR relationship with nature. The second, 5G Cactus, adds an antenna to the original coat rack, underscoring modern anxieties around technology’s pervasive influence.
