Throwing it back to the skeleton of modern Greek society, the former Public Tobacco Factory in Athens plays host to NEON’s enrichment project that celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence. The curators, Elina Kountouri and Madeleine Grynsztejn, gathered 59 artists from 27 countries to adorn the revamped 70,000-square-foot creative hotspot; complimented by 15 site-specific installations, the historical landmark gateways into a modern cultural landscape that fosters a dialogue of diversity.
