For its benefit gala and auction, the Queens Museum will honor its board chairman, Katrina M. Adams. She has distinguished herself as a community leader this past year, spearheading the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Alliance, an initiative supporting the institution’s adjoining park. Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization’s plans for a new library, among other cultural spaces.
