Inspired by Atlanta’s reputation as the “city in a forest,” SO-IL partners Jing Liu and Florian Idenburg create a foliage-filled mesh canopy that floats above the Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza and envelops museum goers. The canopy’s perches also aim to draw the region’s hundreds of bird species to the site, which nods to the High’s proximity to Piedmont Park, the city’s largest green space.
