A two-part show, “The Ends of Collage” will highlight collage artwork in Western art, beginning in the early 20th century. Featuring work by everyone from early modernists like Marcel Duchamp and Max Ernst to mid-century figures like Robert Rauschenberg and Lee Krasner to contemporary artists like John Baldessari and Mark Flood, the exhibition will attempt to sidestep established art historical movements as it will be organized by technical underpinnings and thematics, respectively, in the New York and London spaces.
