For its 15th annual showcase of orchids, aptly titled “The Orchid Show,” the New York Botanical Garden will highlight species of the flower from Thailand, a country that boasts more than 1,000 native varieties. At least as many will be packed densely within expansive greenhouses at the NYBG, offering visitors a respite from the East Coast winter.
